We had a great meal a few weeks ago. Appetizers of calamari, meatballs, portobello and borek were delicious. The entrees were fantastic as well. The entertainment was Panorama and they are not to be missed. A great find. We will definitely be back

We liked food was good , service was very good, prices are reasonable for the quality. My one issue was the music was a bit loud for dinner time . We had friends from out of town , we don't see often and we couldn't talk. I think softer music from 7:00 to 9:00 and get the party going after 9:00 pm. Loved the live music though and would go back , just more in a party mode than dinner to visit with friends.

We had a lovely evening at Taverna with the terrific entertainment of "Panarama" ( good dancing) & the excellent table service by "Jhoan". We both enjoyed a shrimp cocktail & I then chose the Cobb salad, which was enormous & delicious. We also had a simple & satisfying Burger deluxe. A few cocktails & and an ice cream desert. Very pleasant establishment with easy parking. We will return!

Sunday brunch was delicious. Located at the Paramus golf course Taverna OTG is bright and light and so was the menu! A delightfully surprise is the table cloths and serve ware which gives the feel of an upscale restaurant with very reasonable prices. The Avocado toast was served on a thick slice of multigrain bread and topped with a fried egg and arugula salad. The pancakes were light and delicious served with a touch of whipped cream and strawberry garnish. I loved that the coffee is served in cup and saucer that's thin and smaller than your thick diner mug. Taverna is a must try and the setting is beautiful!

We came here on a Friday night to have dinner and listen to the band. This was our first time at the restaurant, but my parents, who we were with, go often. To start, this place is like a hidden gem. It is adorable instead with the ceiling beams, white tablecloths, and fireplace. We were going mainly to see the band but also to have dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty the food was. Service was great and the manager on duty kept checking in with us. The bread was alright, it was a little too hard on the outside. We started with the fried calamari as an appetizer, it came with two different sauces and I thought it was delicious. My husband liked the texture but didn't love the breading. For the entree, I had the chicken Milanese which was tasty and large. My husband had the burger, the meat was very fresh and cooked perfectly. After we ate dinner, we kept ordering drinks and listening to the band. The sangria was so good! It wasn't that strong and was huge. We sat in the back at a high top which had an ideal view of the band. The band was outstanding! The singer had an amazing voice and everyone was singing and dancing. We will definitely be back here for dinner and the live music.

What a great place! I was so skeptical because of the old owners and how bad it used to be...This is a COMPLETE OPPOSITE! We had the fried calamari (best I've had in a decade!, Barreda cheese was superb. The meatballs were so fresh and full of flavor. If that wasn't enough, the chicken Milanese was thin and tender, fettuccine Alfredo was hand made and so cheesy. But the best was my veal osso buco was fantastic. It was melt in your mouth. Cuts with a spoon! And the desserts were delectable. The owner came to our table and told us about the menu and was a great host. Thank you Sir!! Live music was awesome and the place looks so modern and relaxing. I would highly recommend everyone come here for dinner and you will not be disappointed.

First time here on a Wednesday evening. Waiter named James was amazing. Waiting on tables, making drinks...yes he was alone except for kitchen staff Sorry no photos but everything was good. I had chicken wings and calamari for appetizers ( 6 of us ). Calamari was tender and wings cooked crispy just like we asked for I had spaghetti bolognese for dinner and it was also good. It's ladies night on Wednesday so drinks were $5. Karaoke annoyingly bad singers so will probably go another night next time The place is clean and rustic. If you're looking for a leisurely relaxing atmosphere with wonder food look no further. What a wonderful jewel! Nestled in Paramus overlooking the Paramus golf course we had a terrific meal sitting by the fireplace and served by an attentive wait staff including the owner and her husband. Everything was top notch from from the delicious toast served at the beginning of the meal to the coffee. My 95 year old mom who never finished anything raved about the New England clam chowder and thoroughly enjoyed the fillet of sole picatta. The crab cakes were equally delicious as they were mostly crab (not filler) and moist. I'm looking forward to being back in the neighborhood to go again.
